Bespoke Computing, based in Telford, has won Microsoft Authorized Education Reseller status to add to its already strong repertoire of customer benefits.
MD Chris Pallett believes that this positions the business for major growth across a broad spectrum that includes educational establishments and their students, public libraries, museums, research establishments and, importantly, charities.
Indeed, Bespoke’s first customer under the new scheme is a charity, the Greenwood Centre, whose offices can be found at the old Coalbrookdale railway station in the heart of the Ironbridge Gorge. Di Wood, for the Greenwood Centre was understandably pleased, not just with the service – professional, non ‘techy’ and with a human face - but also with the 70% discount Chris was able to give her as a Microsoft Educational Reseller. This sort of service is vital to charities such as the Greenwood Centre who need to maximise the spend on their charitable work and minimise overheads.
As the name suggests, the Greenwood Centre focuses on wood and provides courses in woodland management ranging from professional O.C.N accredited courses to weekend craft courses in everything from basket weaving to coracle making as well as providing an environmentally friendly wood built hall available for seminars and meetings. Chris Pallett is really delighted to be able to combine good business and good citizenship, saying “To be successful charities need support from the business community. Having access to schemes like this one from Microsoft is really fantastic for everybody who will benefit from the end result. We are looking forward to the next opportunity to help a local charity with their IT”.
