Last month’s lead threatWin32/Kryptik was not only knocked of the top spot, but rather it was beaten down to 4th place. Gaining a share of 6.59% 1st place has been reclaimed by the Win32/Conficker virus.

Second place on the leader board(?) was taken by the regular INF/Autorun treat. This type of threat infects removable media like USB memory sticks. Third place is the Win32/PSW.OnLineGames threat that specialises is harvesting data for online role playing games like World of Warcraft, accounting for 3.71% of all malware attacks defended by ESET Anti-Virus.
