Computer security is a globally dynamic market; it is no longer just about viruses but other styles of attack too, and attacks are always on the increase. Issued monthly, leading anti-virus vendor ESET uses their unique ThreatSense technology to report on the facts.

In the November 2009 security threat report we looked at email detections, for December we give you the top 10 malware detections.

The highest number of detections this month, with almost 9.85% of the total, was scored by the Win32/Conficker class of threat.
