Can your IT provider demonstrate the value they provide to your business each month?

Previously we wrote about the benefit of a business having transparency over its operation and how technology plays a part in that.  Technology helps you measure your key performance indicators or track the activity of your team – helping you understand detail such as the profit margin on a job.

Transparency also extends to your technology operation itself.  A small business will invest 1 – 2½ per cent of its annual sales on technology, which is £2,500 on £100,000 sales and £25,000 on £1,000,000 sales.

This makes it especially important in smaller organisations where the management of technology is often outsourced to external organisations like Bespoke Computing Ltd. What value are you getting for your money? (more…)

Pound the Bounds… and blisters

Well, we limbered up, we trained… and we… made it just 12 miles into the 25-mile training walk that was the Pound the Bounds in Rock.

But, like all determined fundraisers, we have picked ourselves up, dusted ourselves off and are ready for the next training challenge in preparation of the 50-mile hike we will undertake in October. (more…)

Midlands IT experts swap the office for the Shropshire hills to raise money for Charity

Gearing up for the Longmynd Hike in October our walkers are taking part in the annual Pound the Bounds in Rock, Worcestershire.

We definitely need to train hard for our 50 mile charity hike so this annual fundraiser organised for the Midlands Air Ambulance (one of our three great charities) is the perfect warm-up event to know our training plan up a gear.
